Bill Behrens Veterans Invite recap

Nearly 100 Tidal Wave swimmers competed at The Bill Behrens Veterans Invite at GA Tech over the weekend.  Meet sessions were crowded and long, but our swimmers took advantage of the opportunity that Tech presents and made huge strides.  Nikolay Chernev set a new team record in the 13-14 boys 200 fly with a time of 1:59.51!!!  There were a ton of new time standards achieved.  Additionally, a total of 15 new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims were recorded!

8 & Under: Celina Hutchins:  200 free – 9^th (3:17.72), 100 breast – 9^th (1:51.90); Abigail Magouyrk: 200 free – 6^th (3:07.65), 100 fly – 8^th (1:47.66); Tommy Zundel: 200 free – 7^th (3:07.39), 100 fly – 7^th (1:47.60); 9-10: Harper Sampieri:  200 free – 5^th (2:16.79), 500 free – 6^th (6:06.68), 50 back – 2^nd (32.33), 100 back – 3^rd (1:10.66), 50 fly – 3^rd (30.24); 11-12: Tyler Hanna: 200 breast – 10^th (2:43.66); 13-14: Nikolay Chernev: 200 free – 9^th (1:52.46), 1000 free – 5^th (10:28.14), 200 fly – 1^st (1:59.51).  Great job swimmers!
